Munchkins – Rules of Play

By entering Munchkins you must agree to all of our rules of play. Children’s safety is of the highest importance to us and these rules of play are in place to ensure your visit to Munchkins is a safe and enjoyable one. It is important that all these rules are strictly adhered to.

In the event that any rules are broken you may be asked to leave without a refund.

Customers are encouraged to report any failure to comply with these rules to the Munchkins team.

 

  1. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at all times. Munchkins provide members of staff who monitor the equipment and who have access to first aid facilities, however Munchkins do not accept the responsibility for the supervision of children.
  1. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to explain the rules of play to their children and monitor them closely to ensure all rules are adhered to.
  1. Parents/guardians must ensure their children are dressed appropriately to use the facility. We advise children to wear long trousers and sleeves to minimise the risk of injury with in the play gym.
  1. Leave jewellery, watches or other sharp objects with a responsible adult before entering the play gym.
  1. Children should use the toilet and must wash their hands before entering the play gym.
  1. Children and adults must remove shoes before entering the play gym.
  1. Socks must be worn at all times whilst in the play gym.
  1. Spectacles should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses.
  1. Parents/guardians must ensure that children behave at all times in a manner to avoid causing offence or injury to others. Fighting, bullying or offensive language will not be tolerated.
  1. We encourage parents or other accompanying adults to play with their children and to use the equipment where it is safe to do so. All adults doing this must use reasonable care to avoid damage to the equipment or injury to themselves or others.
  1. Balls and objects must not be thrown at others.
  1. Children must not climb on the netted walls, the frame structure or on the slides.
  1. Children must not play in front of slide exits.
  1. If you witness any unsafe play, violent / abusive conduct or dangerous equipment you agree to notify the Munchkins team immediately.
  1. Age restrictions vary dependent on the play area that visitors are using. These are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all children so please ensure age limits are adhered to.
  1. NO food or drink should be taken into the play area. Chewing gum is strictly forbidden.
  1. Play is restricted to 2 hours during peak times.

 

Play Centre – General Rules 

By entering Munchkins you must agree to all of our play centre rules. Children’s safety is of the highest importance to us and these rules of play are in place to ensure your visit to Munchkins is a safe and enjoyable one. It is important that all these rules are strictly adhered to.

  1. Children who are unwell must not be brought to Munchkins. Anyone who becomes unwell whilst at Munchkins is kindly asked to leave immediately to avoid the risk of infection to others.
  1. NO food or drink shall be consumed on our premises unless purchased on our premises.
  1. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere on our premises.
  1. Nappy changing and the use of potties should be conducted in the baby changing facilities or the toilets only. All nappies should be disposed of in the correct bins provided in the baby change.
  1. We accept no responsibility for theft or loss of items. Personal items and money belonging to children should be left with their accompanying adult.
  1. In the interest of Health and Safety, please ensure that any food debris which falls on the floor is picked/wiped up as soon as possible. Report any spillages to a member of the Munchkins team.
  1. Report all accidents to a member of the Munchkins team to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise the potential of reoccurrence. These will be logged and are an important part of ongoing safety audits
  1. All damages within Munchkins either accidental or deliberate must be reported to a member of the Munchkins team.
  1. No pets are allowed on the premises except guide dogs.
